Desde entonces, el nuevo Neopanamax de 15.264 TEUs se ha unido a un contrato de fletamento a largo plazo con la l\u00ednea naviera CMA CGM, por la que comercializar\u00e1 bajo el nombre de &#8220;CMA CGM Unity&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">El nuevo buque es la sexta de una serie de al menos 23 buques gemelos Maxi-Neopanamax (M_NPX) propulsados \u200b\u200bpor GNL que Hyundai construir\u00e1 para EPS. Se cree que todos estos est\u00e1n destinados a compromisos ch\u00e1rter a largo plazo de CMA CGM (12 buques) y MSC (11 buques).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">Hyundai entreg\u00f3 el buque l\u00edder de esta serie, el &#8220;Morecambe Bay&#8221;, en septiembre de 2020, el cual se uni\u00f3 a CMA CGM bajo el nombre comercial &#8220;CMA CGM Tenere&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">Si bien se cuentan como buques gemelos para todos los efectos, el dise\u00f1o de los (M-NPX) propulsados \u200b\u200bpor GNL de Hyundai han evolucionado ligeramente con el tiempo y los m\u00e1s posteriores ahora tienen una clasificaci\u00f3n de 15.264 TEUs, en comparaci\u00f3n con los 14.812 TEUs de las tres unidades iniciales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">El nuevo &#8220;CMA CGM Unity&#8221; tiene 366 metros de eslora, 51 metros de manga y posee 158.999 dwt. La nave es propulsada por un motor de combustible dual MAN-B &amp; W &#8211; 11 G90ME-C10.5-GI que le permite una velocidad de hasta 22 nudos. La electricidad para contenedores refrigerados se suministra a trav\u00e9s de 1.000 conexiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">Por razones operativas, CMA CGM com\u00fanmente &#8220;agrupa&#8221; su tonelaje de GNL en servicios en los que asegur\u00f3 el abastecimiento de combustible a largo plazo.
